Album Cover
"This was our largest number of children ever, and the event was a tremendous success. Having started this program in June, 1991, this was our 25th annual event. We want to thank all the families that came out to enjoy themselves today. Thanks to the Savannah Coca Cola Bottling Company for the use of their Coke Wagon and Coke products, and Billy Griffith and Flowers Baking Company for the hotdog buns they provided. Special thanks for the Richmond Hill Fish Hatchery and DNR staff for the use of their great facilities, and for the help of their staff in making this event such a great success over the past quarter century. The annual kid’s fishing derby is one of the Exchange Club’s signature activities. Some of the club’s other community service projects include our Annual Public Safety Officers of the Year recognition, our Student of the Month and Student of the Year awards for outstanding RHHS seniors, production of the annual Bryan County School Calendar, annual support for our local YMCA, American Cancer Society Relay For Life, and American Red Cross blood drives, to name a few. The Exchange Club meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at noon at Richmond Hill City Center. Visitors are welcome, and the club actively seeks new prospective members. Membership in the Richmond Hill Exchange Club is a great way to get involved in helping make Bryan County a better plan to live and raise your family."
